We need Sponsors for our
Adopt-A Student Grant Program
The Well City Fox Cities Adopt-A-Student award is given to students (or student/teacher teams) of the Fox Cities area school districts who qualified for funding by submitting a written plan for a school project. This project needs to significantly contribute to the health and wellness of their classmates, their entire school or their community. The recipient may be awarded up to $500, and will be recognized at our annual Awards Banquet in April.
Our most recent award recipients include:
· Ferber Elementary School in Appleton for supporting 10 Special Olympic Athletes in the State Track Meet
· Horace Mann Middle School in Neenah for hosting a pedometer competition among 120 students
· Appleton North High School for assistance with their Garden Club which promotes outdoor gardening and healthy eating
· Lawrence University to further advance their student smoking cessation program with the purchase of a device to measure nicotine levels
We hope to raise $5,000 for this project, and ask that your organization help support us by writing a check to:

Well City Fox Cities Gains a Fourth Platinum Sponsor
February 9, 2011
We are pleased to announce Well City Fox Cities has another Platinum sponsor! Anytime Fitness has generously donated $5000 to help offset the cost of running the Well City initiative with our all-volunteer Advisory Board.
This funding allows us to have more visibility in the community by hosting and participating in wellness events. It also gives us financial backing for the “Adopt-A-Student” program we offer to the participating school districts, enabling students to submit a wellness idea they want to implement in their classroom, their school, their district or the community.
